Little Bible Storytime Privacy Policy

Thomas McCluskey operates Little Bible Storytime and its private YouTube uploader. The uploader is used only by the channel owner to upload the channel's own videos.
YouTube and Google terms
The uploader uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel to the uploader, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Google permissions requested
The uploader requests two Google permissions, which Google describes as follows:
- youtube.upload: "Manage your YouTube videos".
- youtube.readonly: "View your YouTube account". This is a broad read-only permission that could allow viewing other information in your YouTube account, such as playlists and subscriptions.
Information the uploader actually accesses
Although the read-only permission would allow viewing other account information, the uploader only accesses:
- the connected channel's ID and title, to confirm the destination channel;
- the titles, IDs, and status of the channel's most recent uploads, only when an interrupted upload must be checked for duplicates;
- the status and settings (privacy, Made for Kids, processing) of videos it uploaded, to confirm them and keep its records current.
It uploads video files with their titles, descriptions, tags, audience (Made for Kids) settings, and visibility settings. It does not read viewer data, comments, analytics, playlists, or subscriptions.
Storage and use
The OAuth client secret and the Google refresh token are stored in files readable only by the owner's account on a persistent cloud computer provided by the Grok Bot service, so scheduled uploads can run. Short-lived access tokens are held in memory only. Credentials are not placed in video descriptions or production records.
Production records may include channel IDs, video IDs, video titles, file fingerprints, upload status, and error information. This information is used only to operate the uploader, troubleshoot failures, and prevent duplicate uploads.
Service providers and sharing
xAI (Grok and Grok Bot). The workflow runs on a cloud computer provided by the Grok Bot service, operated by xAI. Two kinds of information are processed by xAI:
- Original story content: episode scripts, image prompts, and illustrations created with Grok Imagine.
- Google API data: the Grok AI assistant runs the uploader and reads its output, so the channel ID and title, video IDs, Studio links, and upload status shown in that output are processed by xAI while the assistant operates the uploader. The uploader's routine checks are designed to show as little of this information as possible.
xAI and its service providers process this information under the xAI Privacy Policy.
ElevenLabs. Narration audio is generated by ElevenLabs, Inc. using a built-in ElevenLabs voice. Only the narration script text (the story text) is sent to ElevenLabs. No Google user data is sent to ElevenLabs. ElevenLabs processes this content under its Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Google and YouTube. Videos are assembled on the production computer, and finished videos and their metadata are sent to Google and YouTube.
Google user data is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not shared with anyone other than the service providers described above.
Little Bible Storytime's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
AI-generated content
Episode scripts and illustrations are created with AI tools (Grok and Grok Imagine), and narration is generated with ElevenLabs. Each video description states "Created with Grok. Narration voice by ElevenLabs."
Cloud storage and retention
The uploader's Google authorization credentials and production records are stored on a persistent cloud computer provided by the Grok Bot service, in files readable only by the owner's account. They are kept only while the uploader is in use. Stored video records are refreshed against YouTube or deleted at least every 30 days. Records for videos that no longer exist on YouTube are deleted. Information processed by xAI is retained according to the xAI Privacy Policy, which states that deleted conversations are removed within 30 days unless retention is necessary for legal, compliance, or safety purposes. Narration text sent to ElevenLabs is retained according to the ElevenLabs Privacy Policy, which states that personal information is kept as long as necessary to provide its services or as required or permitted by law.
Model training
The account operating this workflow has Privacy Mode enabled, which the provider states excludes its content from model training. ElevenLabs may use submitted content as described in its own policies.
Deletion requests
To ask for deletion of the information the uploader stores, contact thomasjmccluskey@gmail.com. The stored Google authorization, channel information, temporary sign-in data, and production records containing YouTube data will be deleted as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days of the request. The stored authorization is also revoked with Google. Each deletion is recorded in a log that contains no tokens, IDs, or titles. The app's own OAuth client credential, which contains no user data, is kept.
Deleting the uploader's stored data does not affect anything stored by YouTube. To delete videos or other data on YouTube, use YouTube Studio or another YouTube application.
Revoking access
The channel owner can disconnect the uploader directly. The uploader then immediately revokes its authorization with Google and deletes its stored data in the same step, within 7 calendar days at most.
You can also revoke the uploader's access at any time on the Google security settings page (also available at myaccount.google.com/permissions). This immediately stops the uploader from making further requests to your Google account. The uploader regularly checks whether its authorization is still valid, and alerts the channel owner when Google reports it revoked. Its stored data is then deleted as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days of the revocation. Temporary network problems are not treated as revocation. Uploaded videos are not affected.
This website
This website (mccluskeymedia.com) is a static website operated by Thomas McCluskey. It has no accounts, sign-ups, forms, comments, advertising, analytics or tracking, and it does not set cookies. It does not ask children (or anyone) to submit personal information.
Hosting. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare receives the technical information any website host receives (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) in order to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare processes this information under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. The operator does not use this information to identify visitors.
Embedded YouTube videos. Story pages embed videos from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The video player is provided by YouTube. When the player loads or a video is played, YouTube may receive information from your browser and may store information on your device, as described in the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s description of privacy-enhanced mode. The videos are marked “Made for Kids” on YouTube. You can also watch on YouTube directly using the links on each page.
Downloads. Coloring pages are plain PDF and PNG files served from this website.
Email. If you email the contact address below, your message and email address are used only to reply and are not shared or added to any list.
Cookies and viewers
The uploader does not place cookies or other tracking technology on anyone's device and collects no information from people who watch the channel's videos.
Children
The uploader is an administrative tool for the adult channel owner. It does not invite children to create accounts or submit personal information.
Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
